Production in construction
In August 2014 the seasonally adjusted index increased by 6.0%, compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the quarter June-August was -1.9%, with respect to the previous quarter.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector in August 2014 decreased by 4.2% compared with same month of previous year (calendar working days being 20 versus 21 in August 2013). In the period January-August 2014 the percentage change was -6.4% compared with the same period of 2013.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 7.5% compared with August 2013. Comparing the average of the first eight months of 2014 with the same period of 2013 the index decreased by 7.5%.
