Production in construction
In April 2014 the seasonally adjusted index was unchanged compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the quarter February-April was -2.4%, with respect to the previous quarter.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector in April 2014 decreased by 5.0% compared with same month of previous year (calendar working days in April 2014 being the same as in April 2013). In the period January-April 2014 the percentage change was -5.3% compared with the same period of 2013.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 5.1% compared with April 2013. Comparing the average of the first four months of 2014 with the same period of 2013 the index decreased by 6.2%.
