Production in construction
In April 2011 the seasonally adjusted index increased by 0.8% compared with the previous month. The percentage change of the average of the quarter February-April, with respect to the previous quarter was null.
The calendar adjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 1.1% compared with April 2010 (calendar working days being 20 versus 21 days in April 2010); in the period January-april 2011 the percentage was unchanged compared with the same period of 2010.
The unadjusted index of production in construction sector decreased by 4.5% compared with April 2010. Comparing the average of the first four months of 2011 with the same period of 2010 the index decreased by 1.2%.
