Agricultural products prices

The agricultural price indices provide information on trends in purchase prices of the means of production  and producer prices of agricultural products. Since January 2009 indices are calculated with reference to the base year 2005.

In the third quarter of 2011:

• the Input price index rose by 0.4% compared to the previous quarter and by 7.0% in comparison to the same period of the previous year; the monthly indices compared to those of the previous period rose by 8.0% in July, by 7.2% in August and 5.8% in September.
• the Output price index decreased by 0.7% compared to the previous quarter, and rose by 5.6% in comparison to the same period of the previous year; the monthly indices compared to those of the previous period rose by 0.4% in July, decreased by 0.2% in August and rose by 2.2% in September.
