Preliminary estimate of GDP - Q3 2026
In the third quarter of 2026, the seasonally and calendar adjusted, chained volume measure, of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), is estimated to have remained unchanged compared with the previous quarter and to have increased by 0.8% year on year. The third quarter of 2026 had four more working days than the previous quarter and one more than the third quarter of 2025.
The quarter-on-quarter change reflects an increase in value added in the services and agriculture sectors and a decrease in industry. On the demand side, domestic demand (including change in inventories) made a positive contribution, while net foreign demand made a negative contribution.
The carry-over growth rate for 2026, adjusted for calendar effects, is 0.8%. It should be noted that 2026 has three more working days than 2025.
