Industrial turnover - December 2023

In December 2023 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover increased in the month on month by 2.1% (+1.7% in the domestic market and +2.7% in the non-domestic one).

In 4th quarter of 2023 total industrial turnover level increased by 0.9% when compared to the previous quarter (+0.6% in the domestic market and +1.4% in the non-domestic one).

Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index fell by 0.1% comparing to December 2022 (-0.8% in the domestic market and +1.1% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in December 2023 were 18, two less than December 2022.

Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index increased by 1.9% in December 2023; it grew by 1.1% in 4th quarter of 2023 compared to the previous one. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index fell by 0.1% when compared with the same month a year earlier.
