Industrial turnover - August 2022

In August 2022 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover increased on a montly basis by 3.6% (+3.4% in the domestic market and +3.8% in the non-domestic one).

In the three months to August 2022 total industrial turnover levels increased by 2.6% when compared to the previous three month period (+2.7% in the domestic market and +2.4% in the non-domestic one).

Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index grew by 1% comparing to August 2021 (+22.9% in the domestic market and +23.5% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in August 2022 were 22 as in August 2021.

Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index increased by 2.9% in August 2022; in the three months to August 2022 it decreased by 0.1% when compared with the previous three month period. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index was up by 7.7% when compared with August 2021.
