Foreign trade with non-EU countries - September 2024
Data on Italy’s foreign trade with non-EU27[1] countries in September 2024 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in September 2024 will be disseminated on coming 15 November 2024.
In September 2024, exports to non-EU27 countries decreased by 2.0% and imports dropped by 6.2% compared with the same month of the previous year.
In September 2024, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports decreased by 0.4% and imports by 1.5% compared with August 2024. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 1.9% decrease in outgoing flows and a 0.1% decrease in incoming flows.
In September 2024, the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 3,657 million euro compared with a surplus of 2,817 million euro in September 2023; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 7,583 million euro, down compared with an 8,310-million-euro surplus in September 2023.
