Foreign trade with non-EU countries - September 2021
Data on Italy’s foreign trade with non-EU27 countries in September 2021 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in September 2021 will be disseminated on coming 17 November 2021.
In September 2021 exports to non-EU27 countries increased by 5.1% and imports rose by 32.9% compared with the same month of the previous year.
In September 2021, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports decreased by 1.1% and imports increased by 0.6% compared with August 2021. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 2.3% increase in outgoing flows and a 7.3% rise in incoming flows.
In September 2021 the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 1,671 million euro compared to the surplus of 5.273 million euro in September 2020; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 5,075 million euro, down compared with a 6,957 million euro surplus in September 2020.
