Foreign trade with non-EU countries - October 2021

Data on Italy’s foreign trade with non-Eu27 countries in October 2021 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in October 2021 will be disseminated on coming 16 December 2021.

In October 2021 exports to non-Eu27 countries increased by 3.9% and imports rose by 30.0% compared with the same month of the previous year.

In October 2021, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports increased by 1.5% and imports increased by 3.2% compared with September 2021. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 0.4% decrease in outgoing flows and a 9.9% rise in incoming flows.

In October 2021 the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 3,587 million euro compared to the surplus of 6.996 million euro in October 2020; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 7,468 million euro, down compared with a 8,624 million euro surplus in October 2020.
