Foreign trade with non-EU countries - March 2026
Data on Italy’s foreign trade with non-EU27 countries in March 2026 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in March 2026 will be disseminated on coming 18 May 2026.
In March 2026, exports to non-EU27 countries increased by 4.5% and imports rose by 7.8%, compared with the same month of the previous year.
In March 2026, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports and imports increased by 3.1% and 3.5% respectively, compared with February 2026. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 4.6% increase in outgoing flows and a 3.7% increase in incoming flows.
In March 2026, the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 5,643 million euro compared with a surplus of 6,110 million euro in March 2025; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 9,605 million euro, down compared with a 9,977-million-euro surplus in March 2025.
