Foreign trade with non-EU countries

Data on Italy’s foreign trade with non-EU27 countries in June 2021 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in June 2021 will be disseminated on coming 12 August 2021.

In June 2021 exports to non-EU27 countries increased by 23.3% and imports rose by 31.1% compared with the same month of the previous year.

In June 2021, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports increased by 0.1% and imports by 1.2% compared with May 2021. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed a 6.3% increase in outgoing flows and a 10.9% rise in incoming flows.

In June 2021 the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 4,790 million euro compared to the surplus of 4.676 million euro in June 2020; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 7,517 million euro, up compared with a 6,265 million euro surplus in June 2020.
