Foreign trade with non-EU countries - December 2024
Data on Italy’s foreign trade with non-EU27 countries in December 2024 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in December 2024 will be disseminated on coming 17 February 2025.
In December 2024, exports to non-EU27 countries increased by 3.9% and imports by 7.5% compared with the same month of the previous year.
In December 2024, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports stayed unchanged and imports decreased by 0.3% compared with November 2024. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed increases in outgoing and incoming flows of 1.6% and 4.5%, respectively.
In December 2024, the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 7,790 million euro compared with a surplus of 8,104 million euro in December 2023; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 12,427 million euro, down compared with a 13,112-million-euro surplus in December 2023.
