Foreign trade and import prices - June 2026

In June 2026, seasonally adjusted data increased both for exports (+1.6%) and for imports (+1.2%). Exports to EU countries increased by 6.7%, while exports to non-EU countries dropped by 3.6%. Imports rose both from EU countries (+1.1%) and non-EU countries (+1.4%).

Over the last quarter, compared with the previous one, seasonally adjusted data increased for both exports (+2.2%) and imports (+5.4%).

In June 2026, compared to the same month of the previous year, exports increased by +9.8% and imports by +13.2%. Outgoing flows grew by +15.1% for EU countries and by +4.1% for non-EU countries. Incoming flows rose by +9.1% for EU area and by +18.7% for non-EU area. 

In June 2026, trade balance recorded a surplus of +4,232 million Euros (+1,577 million Euros surplus for EU countries and +2,655 million Euros surplus for non-EU countries). Excluding energy, the trade balance surplus amounted to +9,234 million Euros.

In June 2026, import prices decreased by 1.3% on monthly basis (remained unchanged for the euro zone,  -2.6% for the non-euro zone). Over the last three months, compared to the previous three months, import prices increased by 5.0% (+2.5% for the euro zone, +7.4% for the non-euro zone).

Import prices, compared to the same month a year ago, increased by 4.9% (+3.0% for the euro zone, +6.6% for the non-euro zone).
