Foreign trade and import prices - June 2025
In June 2025, seasonally adjusted data, compared to May 2025, increased both for exports (+4.0%) and imports (+3.3%). Exports rose by +6.3% for non-EU countries and by +1.8% for EU countries. Imports grew by +5.2% for non-EU countries and by +2.0% for EU countries.
Over the last quarter, seasonally-adjusted data, compared to the previous one, declined for both exports (-2.6%) and imports (-1.7%).
In June 2025, compared to the same month of the previous year, exports increased by +4.9% and imports by +4.8%. Outgoing flows rose for both non-EU countries (+5.2%) and EU countries (+4.6%). Incoming flows grew by +10.1% for non-EU area and by +1.2% for EU area.
In June, trade balance registered a surplus of +5,409 million Euros (+5,478 million Euros surplus for non-EU countries and -69 million Euros deficit for EU countries). Excluding energy, trade balance surplus amounted to +9,331 million Euros.
In June 2025, import prices increased by 0.2% on monthly basis (+0.2% for the euro zone, +0.2% for the non-euro zone). Over the last three months, compared to the previous three months, import prices decreased by 2.5% (-0.9% for the euro zone, -3.8% for the non-euro zone).
Import prices, compared to the same month a year ago, decreased by 2.7% (-1.8% for the euro zone, -3.4% for the non-euro zone).
