Foreign trade
Istat presents data on Italy’s foreign trade as well as unit value and volume indices (base year 2010=100) referring to November 2014.
In November 2014 seasonally-adjusted data, compared to October, decreased by 1.1% for outgoing flows and by 0.1% for incoming flows. The fall in exports is due to decrease for both EU countries(-0.6%) and non EU countries (-1.7%).
Imports decreased for EU countries (-1.6%) and increased for non EU countries (+1.9%). Over the last three months, seasonally-adjusted data, in comparison with the previous three months, increased by 1.9 for exports and by 0.1% for imports.
In November 2014, compared with the same month of the previous year, trade increased by 1.7% for exports (+1.0% for EU area and +2.7% for non EU countries) and was stationary for imports (+0.0% for EU and +0.0% for non EU countries). The trade balance in November amounted to +3.5 billion Euro (+0.8 billion Euro for EU area and +2.7 billion Euro for non EU countries).
