Export of Italian regions
Istat presents the breakdown of national exports by Italian Regions for the reference period July- September 2013.
In the third quarter 2013, compared with the previous period April – June 2013, in seasonally-adjusted terms, exports increase for North-West (+3.7%), North-East (+1.0%) and South and Islands (+0.8%) while decrease for Centre (-0.3%).
In the first nine months of 2013, compared with the same period of the previous year, exports increase fo North-West (+0.3%), North-East (+1.8%) and Centre (+0.2%) decrease for South (-6.1%) and Islands (-14.3%).
In the first nine months of the year, compared with the first nine months of 2012, more relevant decreases, according to their contribution to total export decrement, were recorded for Sicilia (-14.9%), Puglia (-15.8%), Toscana (-2.7%), Sardegna (-13.1%) and Liguria (-7.1%), while relevant increase are recorded for Marche (+12.7%), Piemonte (+2.9%), Veneto and Emilia-Romagna (+2.0% for both).
