Export of Italian regions

In the third quarter of 2018, exports increased for all macro-regions in seasonally-adjusted terms, compared with the previous period: +4.3% in the South and Islands, +2.9% in the North-West, +0.7% in the Centre and +0.2% in the North-East.

In the third quarter of 2018, compared with the previous year, exports increased in the Islands (+14.0%), in the North-East (+4.7%), in the South (+3.8%), in the North-West (3.4%) and dropped in the Centre (-0.2%).

In the same period, more relevant increases, according to their contribution to the total export increase, were recorded in Lombardia (+5.1%), Emilia-Romagna (+5.2%), Sicilia (+18.9%) and Friuli Venezia-Giulia (+10.8%), while relevant decreases were recorded in Lazio (-4.5%) and Liguria (-6.0%).
