Export of Italian Regions - Q2 2026

In the second quarter of 2026, exports increased in seasonally-adjusted terms, compared with the previous period, for the South and Islands (+6.5%), for the North-east (+3.1%) and for the North-west (+2.9%) while decreased for the Centre (-1.6%). 

In the first six months of 2026, compared with the previous year, exports rose in all macro-regions: +11.9% for the Centre, +8.8% for the Island, +4.3% for the North-west, +3.8% for the South and +1.9% for the North-east. 

In the first half of 2026, more relevant increases, according to their contribution to the total export increase, were recorded in Toscana (+23.8%), Lombardia (+3.5%) Piemonte (+6.0%), Veneto (+4.1%) and Emilia-Romagna (+3.0%). More significant falls were recorded in Lazio (-6.8%), Friuli-Venezia Giulia (-9.6%) and Campania (-4.6%).
