Export of Italian Regions - Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, exports increased in seasonally-adjusted terms, compared with the previous period, for the Centre (+4.6%) and for the North-west (+2.1%) while they decreased for the South and Islands (-14.4%) and for the North-east (-2.4%).

In the first six months of 2025, compared with the previous year, exports rose in the Centre (+10.7%) and in the North-west (+1.5%), whereas dropped in the Islands (-13.3%), in the South (-6.6%) and in the North-east (-0.5%).

In the first half of 2025, more relevant increases, according to their contribution to the total export increase, were recorded in Toscana (+11.8%), Lazio (+17.4%), Lombardia (+2.8%) and Friuli-Venezia Giulia (+6.6%). More significant falls were recorded in Campania (-15.5%), Piemonte (-2.5%), Sicilia (-11.2%) and Sardegna (-17.3%).
