Export of italian Regions - Q1 2024

In the first quarter of 2024, exports increased in seasonally-adjusted terms, compared with the previous period, for the Centre (+1.0%), while decreased for the North-East (-0.9%), for the North-West (-3.5%) and for the South and Islands (-4.1%).

In the first quarter of 2024, compared with the previous year, exports rose in the Islands (+8.9%) and in the South (+4.3%) while dropped in the North-East (-2.4%), in the North-West (-3.4%) and in the Centre (-10.4%).

In the first quarter of 2024, more relevant falls, according to their contribution to the total export decrease, were recorded in Marche (-55.5%), Lombardia (-3.4%) and Veneto (-5.1%). More significant increases were recorded in Toscana (+4.4%), Lazio (+8.5%), Campania (+9.6%) and Friuli-Venezia Giulia (+9.1%).
