Export of Italian regions

Istat presents the breakdown of national exports by Italian Regions for the reference period January-December 2014.

In the fourth quarter of 2014, compared with the previous period July–September 2014, in seasonally-adjusted terms, exports increased for North-East (+3.7%), Centre (+1.6%), North-West (+1.4%) and decreased for South and Islands (-0.3%).

In the year 2014, compared with the previous year, exports increased for North-East (+3.5%), Centre (+3.0%), North-West (+2.2%), and South (+1.1%) while decreased for Islands (-13.8%).

In the same period more relevant increases, according to their contribution to total export increment, were recorded for Emilia-Romagna (+4.3%), Lombardia (+1.4%), Veneto (+2.7%), Piemonte (+3.3%) and Marche (+7.5%), while relevant decreases are recorded for Sicilia (-13.9%) and Sardegna (-13.6%).
