Export of Italian regions
Istat presents the breakdown of national exports by Italian Regions for the reference period October-December 2013.
In the fourth quarter 2013, compared with the previous period July–September 2013, in seasonally-adjusted terms, export decreased in the North-west (-1.0%), the North-east (-0.6%) and the Centre (-0.6%) while increased in the South and Islands (+4.1%).
In the year 2013, compared with the previous year, export increased in the North-west (+0.6%) and the North-east (+2.4%) and decreased in the Centre (-0.7%), South (-4.1%) and Islands (-15.0%).
In the year 2013, compared with the previous year, more relevant decreases, according to their contribution to total export decrement, were recorded in Sicilia (-14.8%), Sardegna (-15.5%), Puglia (-10.4%), and Liguria (-6.2%), while relevant increases are recorded in Piemonte (+3.8%), Veneto (+2.8%), Emilia-Romagna (+2.6%) and Marche (+12.3%).
