Export of Italian regions
Istat presents the breakdown of national exports by Italian Regions for the reference period January- December 2012.
In the fourth quarter 2012, compared with the previous period July – September 2012, in seasonally-adjusted terms, exports decrease for North-West (-2.6%), North-East (-1.3%) and Centre (-0.1%) while increase for South and Islands (+1.0%).
In the year 2012, compared with the previous year, exports increase for North-West (+3.5%), North-East (+1.1%), Centre (+6.3%) and Islands (+21.3%), decrease for South (-0.2%).
In the year 2012, compared with the previous year, more relevant increases, according to their contribution to total export growth, were recorded for Sardegna (+21.5%), Sicilia (+21.2%), Toscana (+6.9%), Lazio (+5.1%), Lombardia (+3.7%) and Emilia Romagna (+3.1%). Significant increases occurred also for Puglia (+7.3%) and Umbria (+7.6%)
