Export of Italian regions
Istat presents the breakdown of national exports by Italian Regions for the reference period April- June 2013.
In the second quarter 2013, compared with the previous period January – March 2013, in seasonally-adjusted terms, exports decrease for North-West (-1.0%), Centre (-0.9%) and South and Islands (-3.2%) while increase for North-East (+3.6%).
In the first half of 2013, compared with the first semester of the previous year, exports decrease for North-West (-0.2%), South (-6.0%) and Islands (-13.8%), increase for North-East (+0.8%) and Centre (+2.8%).
In the first six months of the year, compared with the first half of 2012, more relevant decreases, according to their contribution to total export growth, were recorded for Liguria (-13.4%), Puglia (-17.0%) and Sicilia (-17.9%), while relevant increase are recorded for Marche (+12.7%), Lazio (+7.9%) and Bolzano/Bozen (+5.5%).
