Consumer confidence

In May the confidence climate index decreased from 86.3 to 85.9.

The reduction was due to the decrease in the economic and future climate ( from 73.3 to 70.5  and from 80.8 to 80.6, respectively).

The balance concerning expectations on unemployment decreased from 109 to 105.

Finally, the balance on inflation perceptions referring to the last 12 months increased from 37 to 50 compared to the previous month. The balance on inflation expectations for next 12 months increased from -3 to 3.
