Consumer confidence

In August the confidence climate index increased from 97.4 to 98.3.

The growth is diffused in all components: economic, personal, current and future (the index increased from 94.8 to 97.6, from 98.7 to 98.9, from 96.1 to 96.9 and from 99.7 to 101.0 respectively).

The balance concerning expectations on unemployment increased from 68 to 72.

Finally, the balance on inflation perceptions referring to the last 12 months increased from 49 to 51 compared to the previous month. The balance on inflation expectations for next 12 months increased from -13 to -1.
