The confidence climate index decreased in August from 86.5 to 86.0.

The decrease was notably explained by personal climate and by future climate that decreased, respectively, from 92.9 to 92.0 and from 79.8 to 76.7.

The balance concerning expectations on unemployment remained stable to 112.

Finally, inflation perceptions referring to the last 12 months decreased from 64 to 50 compared to the previous month. Inflation expectations for next12 months fell from 24 to 14.
