Consumer confidence

In April the confidence climate index increased from 85.3 to 86.3.

The increase was notably explained by economic and current climate that increased from 69.2 to 73.5 and from 89.2 to 90.1, respectively.

The balance concerning expectations on unemployment increased from 104 to 109.

The balance on inflation perceptions referring to the last 12 months decreased from 50 to 37 compared to the previous month. The balance on inflation expectations for the next 12 months also decreased from 2 to -3.
