Confidence in manufacturing

In February 2011 the seasonally adjusted confidence indicator in manufacturing declined to 103.0 from 103.4 in the previous month. The fall stemmed from a worsening in stocks of finished products and production expectations, whereas opinions on the current state of order books improved. Differences emerged at sector and geographical level.
