Building permits indicators - Q2 2025

In residential buildings, the number of dwellings increased (+1.5%) in the second quarter 2025 when compared with the previous quarter, useful floor area increased (+2.1%) too.

Non-residential buildings grew by 13.6% in the second quarter 2025 (quarter on previous quarter).

The number of dwellings in new buildings decreased by 7.3% in the second quarter 2025 with respect to the same quarter a year earlier.

In comparison with the same quarter a year ago, the useful floor area was down 1.6 %.

Non-residential area dropped by 3.8% in the second quarter 2025, compared with the same quarter a year ago, reversing the previous trend.
