Update of Bes indicators - April 2025
Starting this year, the report on Equitable and Sustainable Well-being (Bes) will be published by Istat in November. However, in order to provide users with the updated set of BES indicators in a timely manner, the latest available update of indicators will continue to be published in April.
The update disseminated today concerns a broad set of indicators (95 out of 152) involving all 12 domains into which the BES is divided, involving, in some cases, the revision of time series.
The indicators, released in three Excel files, are broken down by territory, gender, age group and educational qualification, even combined with each other.
A first file contains the data of all the indicators classified by region, macro territorial area and, when available, by gender; a second file contains the data of the available indicators by age group and gender; a final file contains, for those indicators for which it is possible, the classification by educational qualification, age group and gender.
The metadata for the 152 Bes indicators are contained in a separate file.
At the same time the dashboard to visualise the indicators is also updated, it allows to create customised graphs to view and export.
