Conti economici territoriali - 1995-2023

On June 30 2025, to complete and update the regional data released on January 28 2025 (https://www.istat.it/comunicato-stampa/conti-economici-territoriali-anni-2021-2023/), Istat disseminates the update of the time series of the regional aggregates, both NUTS2 and NUTS3, through the IstatData data warehouse – in the theme “National accounts”, sub-theme “Regional accounts”.

The series are consistent with the National accounts released on March 3 2025 and incorporate the results of the general revision of National accounts of September 2024, agreed at EU level.

NUTS2 series of GDP and its components since 1995 are available in current prices, previous year prices and in chain-linked values ​​(reference year 2020). Series of employment expressed in number of employees, jobs, hours worked and full-time equivalent units (FTE) are available from 1995.

NUTS2 series of household disposable income (and its components) expressed in current values ​​are disseminated for the years from 1995 to 2023.

The present release also provides NUTS3 series of value added at current prices and employment (in number of employees and number of jobs) for the period 2000-2022.

The regional data previously released are available in the data warehouse at the sections “National accounts\National accounts – 2019 version” and “National accounts\National accounts – 2014 version“
