Projects for schools

  • Catalogue – For the 2025-2026 school year, following the first three editions of Istat for schools, Workshops and activities promoting statistical literacy in the local area, the catalogue has been revamped in terms of both graphic design and content.
The wide range of training courses on offer complies with the provisions of the Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Education and Merit and the National Institute of Statistics, with the aim of promoting statistical literacy among the younger generation.
The main objective is to introduce students to the world of official statistics and the Institute’s information assets, which is essential for understanding the complex social and economic dynamics of our country.
The catalogue consists of twenty-three fact sheets summarising the methods, content and goals of the workshop projects, seven of which can be used independently by teachers, differentiated by school level and grade.
his edition also includes four fact sheets on the student competitions that the Institute has been promoting periodically for years now.
