On 15 and 16 May 2014, the Italian National Institute of Statistics has the pleasure to host in Rome the 9th Workshop on Labour Force Survey Methodology.

The purpose of the European Workshops on Labour Force Survey Methodology is to provide the opportunity to exchange information on good practices and current experiences on the various issues concerning the Labour Force Survey.

This year’s edition of the workshop focuses on issues concerning Survey design and weighting of the Labour Force Survey.

After eight successful previous editions, the event in Rome constitutes a further occasion for sharing knowledge, experiences, concerns and solutions aimed to improve the quality of labour force surveys and to discuss the impact of the ongoing review of the LFS.
