Industrial turnover - February 2023

In February 2023 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover increased in the month on month by 1.3% (+1.7% in the domestic market and +0.9% in the non-domestic one).

In the three months to February 2023 total industrial turnover levels increased by 0.6% compared with the previous quarter (+1.0% in the domestic market and -0.4% in the non-domestic market).

Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index grew by 7.2% compared to February 2022 (+8.1% in the domestic market and +5.3% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in February 2023 were 20 as in February 2022.

Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index increased by 0.8% in February 2023; in the three months to February 2023 it decreased by 0.3% compared with the previous one. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index decreased by 1.0% with respect to the same month a year earlier.
