Production in the construction sector - February 2023

In February 2023, estimates for construction output rose in the month-on-month series, increasing by 1.5%.

In the three month to February 2023, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction grew by 2.3% when compared with the previous three-month period.

Year on year, the calendar adjusted index (calendar working days being 20 as in February 2022) was up 1.6% and the unadjusted index rose by 1.7%.

In the first two months of 2023, construction output was up 2.4% in the calendar adjusted series and increased by 4.0% in the unadjusted series.
