Industrial turnover - January 2023

In January 2023 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover decreased in the month on month by -1.1% (-0.3% in the domestic market and -2.6% in the non-domestic one).

In the three months to January 2023 total industrial turnover levels remained unchanged comparing with the previous quarter (-0.1% in the domestic market and +0.1% in the non-domestic market).

Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index grew by 8.6% comparing to January 2022 (+9.1% in the domestic market and +7.7% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in January 2023 were 21, one more than January 2022.

Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index decreased by 2.1% in January 2023; in the three months to January 2023 it decreased by 0.7% compared with the previous one. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index increased by 0.5% when compared with the same month a year earlier.
