Building permits indicators - Q3 2022

In residential buildings the number of dwellings decreased in the third quarter 2022 when compared with the previous quarter (-15.2%), useful floor area decreased (-12.6%) too.

Non-residential buildings decreased by 9.0% in the third quarter 2022 (quarter on previous quarter).

The number of dwellings in new buildings decreased by 12.3% in the third quarter 2022 with respect to the same quarter a year earlier.

In comparison with the same quarter a year ago, the useful floor area was down 8.6%.

Non-residential area decreased year-on-year, falling by 11.7% in the third quarter 2022, reversing the previous trend.
