Industrial turnover - July 2022

In July 2022 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover decreased on a monthly basis by 0.1% (unchanged in the domestic market and -0.6% in the non-domestic one).

In the three months to July 2022 total industrial turnover levels increased by 3.5% when compared with the previous three-month period (+3.6% in the domestic market and +3.3% in the non-domestic market).

Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index grew by 3% comparing to July 2021 (+16.5% in the domestic market and +15.7% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in July 2022 were 21, one less than July 2021.

Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index increased by 0.6% in July 2022; in the three months to July 2022 it decreased by 0.7% when compared with the previous three-month period. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index was up by 1.7% when compared with July 2021.
