Industrial turnover - March 2022

In March 2022 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover increased on a monthly basis by 2.4% (+2.6% in the domestic market and +1.8% in the non-domestic one).

In the first quarter of 2022 total industrial turnover levels increased by 4.7% when compared with the previous quarter (+4.3% in the domestic market and +5.5% in the non-domestic market).

Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index grew by 21.4% comparing with March 2021 (+21.6% in the domestic market and +20.9% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in March 2022 were 23 as in March 2021.

Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index decreased by 0.1% when compared with the previous month while increasing by 1.0% when compared with the previous quarter. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index increased by 6.1% when compared with March 2021.
