Foreign trade with non-EU countries - November 2021

Data on Italy’s foreign trade with non-EU27 countries in November 2021 are preliminary. The results of the survey on total foreign trade in November 2021 will be disseminated on coming 18 January 2022.

In November 2021 exports to non-EU27 countries increased by 13.3% and imports rose by 37.7% compared with the same month of the previous year.

In November 2021, in seasonally adjusted terms, exports increased by 2.9% and imports increased by 0.6% compared with October 2021. Over the last three months, seasonally adjusted data, compared with the previous three months, showed steady outgoing flows and a 7.4% rise in incoming flows.

In November 2021 the trade balance with non-EU27 countries registered a surplus of 4,210 million euro compared to the surplus of 6,626 million euro in November 2020; excluding energy, the surplus was equal to 8,132 million euro, up compared with a 8,092 million euro surplus in November 2020.
