Industrial turnover - August 2021

In August 2021 estimates for seasonally adjusted index of industrial turnover increased by 0.8% on a monthly basis (+0.8% in the domestic market and +0.8% in the non-domestic one).

In the three months to August 2021 total industrial turnover levels increased by 4.5% when compared with the previous three-month period (+3.9% in the domestic market and +6.0% in the non-domestic market).

Year on year, the calendar adjusted industrial turnover index grew by 13.8% comparing to August 2020 (+13.0% in the domestic market and +15.2% in the non-domestic market). Calendar working days in August 2021 were 22, one more than August 2020.

Looking at the volume of turnover for the manufacturing sector, the seasonally adjusted index decreased in August 2021 by 1.1% on a monthly basis, while the calendar adjusted volume turnover index increased by 6.0% comparing to August 2020.
