In the three months to August 2021, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction was down 0.3% when compared with the previous three months.
Year on year, the unadjusted index for construction output grew by 5.1%, while the calendar adjusted index (22 calendar working days versus 21 days in August 2020) rose by 1.5%.
In the first eight months of 2021, construction output increased by 30.4% in the unadjusted series and rose by 30.3% in the calendar adjusted series.
