Building permits indicators

In residential buildings the number of dwellings increased in the third quarter 2019 when compared with the previous quarter (+2.8%); useful floor area also increased (+3.9%).

Non-residential buildings decreased by 9.8% in the third quarter 2019 (quarter on previous quarter).

The number of dwellings in new buildings decreased by 4.6% in the third quarter 2019 with respect to the same quarter a year earlier.

In comparison with the same quarter a year ago, the useful floor area was down 1.0%.

Non-residential area decreased year-on-year, falling by 3.6% in the third quarter 2019, reversing the previous trend
