Agricultural products prices

The agricultural price indices provide information on trends in purchase prices of the means of production and producer prices of agricultural products. Since January 2013 indices are calculated with reference to the base year 2010.

In the fourth quarter of 2015:

• the Input price index decreased by 0.1% compared to the previous quarter and by 1.2% in comparison to the same period of the previous year; the monthly indices compared to those of the previous year decreased by 1.4% in October, by 1.2% in November and by 1.0% in December;
• the Output price index increased  by 1.7% compared to the previous quarter and decreased by 0.7% in comparison to the same period of the previous year; the monthly indices compared to those of the previous year increased by 3.4% in October and decreased by 2.8% in November and by 2.4% in December.

With reference to the year 2015 compared to the previous year:

• the Input price index decreased by 2.9%;
• the Output price index decreased by 0.5%.
