Production in the construction sector

Construction output largely increased in January 2020 in the month-on-month series, growing by 7.9%.

In the three months to January 2020, construction output increased by 0.5% compared with the previous three-month period.

The year-on-year calendar adjusted index for production in construction (21 calendar working days in January 2020 versus 22 days in January 2019) was up 8.4%, while the unadjusted index increased by 4.8%.
