The industrial producer price index decreased by 3.0% compared with October 2018 (-4.1% on domestic market and +0.2% on foreign market).
The construction producer prices index of Residential buildings and non-residential buildings decreased by 0.1% in October 2019 compared to the previous month, and by 0.8% on the same month of the previous year. The construction producer prices index of Roards and railways decreased by 0.1% in October 2019 compared to the previous month, and increased by 0.5% on the same month of the previous year.
The average of the last three months index unchanged for Residential buildings and non-residential buildings and increased by 0.2% for Roards and railways, compared to the previous three months of the construction producer prices.
In quarter 3 the total services producer price index decreased by 0.7% compared with the previous quarter and increased by 0.3% respect to quarter 3 of the previous year. Sea and coastal water transport provided the largest upward contribution to the annual rate (+5.2%) while telecommunications the largest downward one (-6.3%).
