Production in the construction sector

In February 2021, estimates for construction output increased by 1.4% in the month-on-month series.

In the three months to February 2021, the seasonally adjusted index of production in construction was up 0.6% when compared with the previous three months.

Year on year, the unadjusted index for construction output grew by 2.4%, while the calendar adjusted index (20 calendar working days as in February 2020) rose by 3.5%.

In the first two months of 2021, construction output fell by 2.2% in the unadjusted series and increased by 1.5% in the calendar adjusted series.
