Export of Italian regions

Istat presents the breakdown of national exports by Italian Regions for the reference period January- June 2018.

In the second quarter of 2018, compared with the previous period, in seasonally-adjusted terms, exports increased for North-East (+3.8%), South and Islands (+3.0%), Centre (+1.2%) and decreased for North-West (-0.5%).

In 2018, compared with the year earlier, exports rose for Islands (+9.3%), North-East (+5.9%), South (+4.6%), North-West (+4.0%) and Centre (+0.7%).

In the same period more relevant increases, according to their contribution to total export increment, are recorded for Lombardia (+6.1%), Emilia-Romagna (+5.9%), Friuli Venezia-Giulia (+17.5%) and Veneto (+3.3%) while decreases were recorded for Liguria (-9.0%), Puglia (-3.8%) and Lazio (-2.3%).
